Earlsfield station update from SW Trains and Network Rail

I was delighted that Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, got involved with our campaign for longer trains at Earslfield. He wrote to the rail authorities supporting our call for more capacity to relieve the severe overwcrowding during peak-hour journeys and has now received the attached response from South West Trains and Network Rail, which updates us on the situation.

In summary, although some improvements are being made, we are still awaiting confirmation of funding towards the major Waterloo station upgrade before we can be certain that a complete fleet of 10-car trains will arrive in Earlsfield over 2017/18.

The campaign continues...
