Dan Watkins has been re-selected by Tooting to be part of Theresa May’s Conservative team for the General Election on 8 June.

Dan said:

“I’m delighted to be re-selected in Tooting as part of Theresa May’s team.

This Sunday saw 150 mosques across Britain open their doors and invite all members of their local communities to come inside and learn more about Islam and its beliefs.

We live in turbulent global times, but the Conservatives’ sound management of the economy is continuing to deliver more jobs and higher wages for people in London and across Britain.

The BATCA Community Awards celebration on 24th November at Jasmin’s Club on Tooting High Street was a wonderful occasion enjoyed by over 200 people from all Balham and Tooting’s communities.

For the past 3 years I have been campaigning for longer, 10-car trains to be used at Earlsfield station during rush hour, and in April this year we got the go-ahead for this vital upgrade.

Many local residents have been in touch with me in recent weeks on the topic of Crossrail 2, as we had expected to hear Transport for London's updated view on whether our local station would be Balham or Tooting.
