I care deeply about creating sustainable jobs and improving our community. We must provide the best possible education to our children and improve the life chances of those born into disadvantage. At the same time we must ensure that it is easier for workers and entrepreneurs to get on with making a positive contribution to our society, through keeping taxes low and regulations modest.
By creating a culture which encourages aspiration, we will generate higher wages for workers and create more tax revenues which can be spent on caring for the most vulnerable.
I have worked for 30 years - growing businesses, creating jobs and leading teams. At a time when the people of Britain are tired of professional politicians, I am putting my real-life skills to use to help build a more prosperous community for all.
