The dealine for the Article 4 Direction public consultation for the pub is fast approaching - 3rd April - so we are holding a big public meeting in the back room of the Wheatsheaf to bring local residents up to speed on the campaign.and let them know what they need to do next.We have reserved the room from 7.30pm and expect to spend an hour hearing from leading figures in the campaign and answering any questions that people have.We would be delighted to see you there.
We've had an update from the pub operators that Enterprise may be considering giving them notice in the next couple of months, ie before the Article 4 Direction consultation concludes in June. As such, we're holding a meeting at the pub to discus the latest information and agree if we need to alter our campaign plan:1. FoodCycle Wandsworth, a volunteer-run restaurant serving surplus food, invites the whole community to its official launch lunch on 22 February 2014. Graveney School, one of the borough's most successful institutions, has developed initial plans for the permanent closure of part of Welham Road, so as to bring together the two sides of the site and create much-needed space to expand the school and its provision.

As part of the Mayor's Youth Initiative, students at local 6th form colleges have been developing their ideas for the products of the future and will be pitching them to a panel of Wandsworth business people. As a local entrepreneur I've been asked to be a Dragon for an afternoon, working with the other judges to decide which team will be the 2014 winner.
